Candle Care

To ensure the best performance and safest experience when using your candle, please follow these important guidelines:

  • First Burn Matters: Allow the wax to melt fully across the surface during the first use to prevent tunneling and promote an even burn.
  • Trim the Wick: Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting. This helps ensure a clean, even burn and reduces soot buildup.
  • Avoid Drafts: Keep burning candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and open windows to prevent uneven burning or excessive flickering.
  • Burn Time: Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Safe Placement: Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface. If a lid is provided, it should be used as a coaster for jar or tin candles.
  • Monitor Flame Height: Extinguish the candle if the flame becomes too high or comes too close to the container’s edge.
  • Keep Away from Flammable Items: Never place burning candles near anything that can catch fire.
  • Don’t Burn to the Bottom: Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains in the container to avoid overheating or container breakage.
  • Never Leave Unattended: Always extinguish candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Your safety is our priority, thank you for burning responsibly!
